Team membership and role-based access control.
Members & Roles
autoGMS uses a simple role-based access model. Members are invited to a Team and can access all Garages within that Team based on their role.
Roles
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access to everything including billing, member management, and destructive actions. Each Team has exactly one Owner. |
| Admin | Can manage garage operations, invite members, and change settings. Cannot manage billing or transfer ownership. |
| Member | Can perform day-to-day operations — create bookings, manage customers, generate invoices. Cannot change settings or manage members. |
Inviting members
- Go to Team Settings > Members
- Click Invite Member
- Enter the email and select a role
- The invitee receives an email with a join link
Invitations expire after 7 days. You can resend or revoke them from the Members page.
Seat limits
Your plan determines the maximum number of members (seats) in your Team. The Owner always counts as one seat. If you reach your limit, remove an existing member or upgrade your plan before inviting new ones.
Transferring ownership
The current Owner can transfer ownership to another Admin from Team Settings. This is irreversible — the previous Owner becomes an Admin.
