Customers

Overview

The Customers module stores all your client information. Every booking and invoice links back to a customer record, giving you a complete service history per client.

Key Concepts

  • Display Name — The primary name shown throughout the UI. Can be a person or business name.
  • Contact Details — Email, phone, and address fields for communication and invoicing.
  • Customer History — All bookings, invoices, and vehicles linked to a customer are accessible from their detail page.

Primary Flows

  1. Add a Customer — From the customers list or inline during booking creation. Provide a display name and optional contact details.
  2. Search — Use the search bar to find customers by name, email, or phone. The MCP customer.search tool also supports this.
  3. View History — Open a customer to see all associated bookings, invoices, and vehicles.

Permissions and Plan Gating

Customers are available on all plans with no record limits.

  • Bookings — Every booking belongs to a customer
  • Vehicles — Vehicles are linked to customer records
  • Invoices — Invoices reference the customer

FAQ

Q: Can I merge duplicate customers? A: Not yet. Ensure you search before creating a new customer to avoid duplicates.

Q: Can I delete a customer? A: Customers with existing bookings or invoices cannot be deleted. You can archive them instead.
